What are Parigara Temples?
When a horoscope carries planetary doshas — or during periods like Sade Sati, Ashtama Sani, or an unfavourable dasha — worshipping at temples associated with the relevant planet is known as a parigaram (remedy). The sacred temples suited to this worship are called parigara temples.
Each planet, rasi, nakshatra, Nithya Yoga and karanam has its own parigara temples. Choosing the temple suited to your horoscope and worshipping there as prescribed is believed to reduce afflictions and bring benefit.
